Horde Webmail
27 February 200827/02/08 - Horde Webmail application is now restored and without issues.
20/02/08 - To all clients, we have removed access to the Horde Webmail application as a security vulnerability in the application could cause our servers to be hacked. Our upper tier administrators, and chief technical officer are working with the cPanel programmers to get this resolved as soon as they possibly can. Unfortunately, if we allow access to Horde, it is possible that our servers could get hacked, putting everyone’s domains, data, email, etc… at risk.
Until this issue is resolved, you can log in to cPanel’s webmail system at http://yourdomain.com/webmail. You can then use either the SquirrelMail or RoundCube applications to send and receive email. Your Horde emails, files, etc… will still be in place when the application is repaired.
We apologize for removing access to Horde, but we felt it was the better alternative than putting our servers (and your data) at risk.
If there is anything we can do to make the temporary transition to RoundCube or SquirrelMail easier for you, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
